Launched in 2014, our mission was to take a modern approach by providing actors with great headshots that pop on screen with the convenience of a mobile studio.

In a post-pandemic world, we learned that headshots aren’t just for actor submissions anymore. The Headshot Truck strives to meet the digital demands of performers, professionals and anyone looking to put their best face forward as we enter into the era of remote workforces and personal branding.

We’re back and ready to give you fresh new content that gets you out there and working again!

the Truck

Our Headshot Truck was originally a Bimbo bread truck, which is why we call her “Bimbo.” We purchased her in 2014 after raising about $20,000 through a Kickstarter campaign, which allowed us to purchase and retrofit the truck into the beauty you see today!

We painted the truck pink for two reasons: Pink is eye-catching, so it can be seen on the road and parked, so it is easy to find. Also, we realized that if we were going to ask people to come aboard a truck with no windows to take pictures, we needed to make it about the least intimidating color we could think of!
